About Tyra

Tyra arrived at the Haven feeling confused and scared after losing her family, but with time, patience, and love, she's transformed into a delightful companion. Adventures with her foster family have revealed her joyful nature, as she enjoys car rides and takes her sniffing responsibilities very seriously. Amazingly, Tyra walks well on a leash and loves her daily strolls, along with exploring the yard. She is great with dogs of her own size but finds larger dogs a bit overwhelming. Unfortunately, she does not get along with cats. While she is still refining her housetraining skills, she has made significant progress and is comfortable being left alone. Tyra sleeps soundly through the night and has reasonable exercise needs. Although Tyra has some age-related vision and hearing decline, she remains active and capable. She adores cuddling, whether on the couch or in bed, and has a charming quirk: one ear that flaps around. If snuggling up with this sweet girl sounds appealing, consider applying today!
