Meet Pumpkin! This sweet little lady was surrendered to a shelter with a request for euthanasia, not because she was ready to die, but due to her human's failing health. Thankfully, Pumpkin found her way to us, albeit carrying the burden of long-neglected medical issues like infected eyes, severe dental disease, and bacterial cystitis. Recently, she was diagnosed with diabetes, which requires careful management and consistent care. Despite her challenges, Pumpkin remains a tolerant and loving companion. She adores snuggles and belly rubs, and she has a sassy bark that ensures dinner is served on time and treats are dispensed properly. While she is mostly blind, she navigates her foster mom's yard with ease, showcasing her adventurous spirit. Pumpkin is approximately 12 years old and weighs 5 lbs, making her a small bundle of joy.
