About Jax

Meet Jax! This charming 6-year-old black Lab has a relaxed demeanor and a heart full of love. He’s seeking a forever home and wants everyone to know that he was deeply loved by his previous family, who sadly could no longer care for him due to illness. Jax is a laid-back guy who's good with children of all ages, other dogs, and even cats. Housetrained and easygoing, he doesn't need to be crated and loves to lounge in his dog bed. Occasionally, you'll find him lounging on the sofa too, enjoying comfort wherever he can. Jax does have a bit of a fondness for food, which his foster family is addressing. He’s on a bit of a fitness journey, especially after a memorable incident involving a loaf of bread on the counter! Ultimately, Jax is looking for a peaceful home where he can settle in, share love, and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. If you're in search of a sweet and relaxed companion, Jax would love to meet you! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
