Rushing him is not the way to go; give him space and let him approach you when he's ready. Once he trusts you, he reveals a playful and affectionately loyal side that will make you smile. This big boy is likely to grow even larger, so a securely fenced yard is a must. An experienced owner with patience will be key to helping him adjust.
