Boomer is a large, 6-year-old male mixed breed dog, with a blend of Labrador Retriever and Pit Bull Terrier traits. He has a beautiful brown and black coat and is altered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Boomer is house trained and requires a patient adopter to help him manage his separation anxiety. He is currently in Wichita, KS, and is a healthy, loving companion ready for the right home.

About Boomer

Boomer is currently in boarding and is eager for a foster or forever home where he can find stability and companionship. This energetic boy thrives in doggie daycare and gets along well with both dogs and cats. However, he does struggle with separation anxiety and needs a patient adopter willing to continue helping him adapt. Once he feels secure, Boomer can be left home alone for short periods if precautions are taken with food and trash. Due to his previous reactivity toward young children, heโ€™s not suited for households with little ones. A calmer environment that respects his boundaries will help him flourish. He is in good health with no known issues but would benefit from a fenced yard, preferably with privacy. With the right consistency and care, Boomer can truly thrive in a loving home.
