About Loki

Click apply to start the adoption process. Loki is a charismatic and intelligent herding mix who arrived from Ponca City shelter in late spring 2021. With his Labrador Retriever and Border Collie heritage, Loki thrives on activity and mental stimulation, making him a delightful and playful companion. He loves going for walks and exploring his surroundings, always ready to show off his sweet nature, but his herding instincts mean he can sometimes get excited and nip—so a home without children is best suited for him. This clever boy flourishes with structure and consistent training. He learns quickly, especially when treats are involved, and he’s happy to shake paws for a reward! Loki enjoys the company of small dogs but feels less comfortable with dogs his size or larger, making him happiest as the only dog in the home. Athletic and energetic, Loki can jump and climb with ease, so a secure 6-foot fence is a must for his safety. With his lively spirit and eagerness to bond, Loki is searching for a committed adopter or foster who can offer the leadership he needs to truly shine. If you’re prepared to provide a structured, loving environment, Loki will offer endless loyalty and affection in return—and as a Sagittarius, he’ll be your forever adventure buddy! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
