Meet Heidi! Heidi is a big, beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog with an even bigger heart! Shelter volunteers describe this sweet girl as incredibly friendly, affectionate, and always interested in getting some pets. In fact, she's been known to pause during her walks just to enjoy a few extra cuddles! Heidi is a wonderful walking companion, too. She walks very nicely on leash with almost no pulling and enjoyed exploring both the neighborhood and a local park. She's also great with kids and cats, making her a terrific family dog. If you're looking for a gentle, loving companion who will happily stroll by your side-and stop along the way for some affection-Heidi may be your girl! The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog.
