Meet Atlas! Atlas is an 8-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog who has seen too much for his tender age. He arrived at the rescue emaciated and showing signs of a tough past spent mostly confined. Yet, this kind boy is discovering what love and safety truly mean. Atlas is doing remarkably well with his house manners and has mastered being housebroken and crate trained. He thrives with the company of other friendly dogs, so finding a home with another sociable canine will greatly benefit his confidence. Due to his history, Atlas needs an understanding and patient owner, ideally someone experienced with the breed. It would be best for him to be placed in a home without small children, where he can adjust at his own pace. Atlas is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. He has a bright future ahead, and we’re excited to see the wonderful companion he can become in a loving environment.
