Meet Tucker Tucker is a 6-year-old toy poodle weighing just 7 pounds, and he’s every bit as sweet as he is adorable. After spending his first years with a breeder, Tucker is learning what it means to be part of a family. He’s a gentle, curious little guy who enjoys exploring the yard, playing with small stuffed toys, and running through grass. Most of all, he loves being close to his person. Tucker can be a little shy and prefers to get comfortable on his own terms. But once he decides you’re part of his circle, he’ll happily curl up in your lap, follow you from room to room, and settle at your feet while you work or relax. He forms deep bonds and has so much love to give. He’s doing wonderfully with his foster brother, is crate trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. Tucker is nearly house trained and continues to gain confidence every day. Because of his tiny size, Tucker would do best in a home with minimal stairs or a family willing to help him navigate them. A fenced in yard would be ideal as Tucker is still working on his leash skills. One of Tucker‘s favorite things is being carried in a sling, where he settles in perfectly and stays close to the people he loves. And when it’s time to rest, he’ll curl up into the tiniest little ball, sometimes blending right into the couch. Tucker is looking for a patient, loving home that will give him the time he needs to blossom. In return, he’ll be a devoted companion and loyal best friend.
