Meet Rupert, a 1.5-year-old male Terrier mix, weighing 31 lbs. He’s initially timid but incredibly sweet, relishing the chance to sit on your lap and soak up love. Currently, he does not know how to walk on a leash, but with a bit of patience and training, he can learn. Rupert is among the 80+ dogs rescued from a difficult hoarding situation where they spent most of their lives in squalor. Despite that, he has shown resilience and an eagerness to discover the warmth of a loving home. While some of his companions have transitioned to foster care, Rupert remains hopeful for a forever home. This weekend, he will be at the Dog & Puppy Adoption Day at Hometown Olathe Family Farm where you can meet him in person.
