Meet Baklava, a 2-year-old male Terrier mix looking for a loving home. Weighing in at about 25 lbs, he has a tricolor coat of brown, black, and white. While he may be timid at first, Baklava's sweetness shines through as he loves to sit on laps and soak up affection. He's still learning how to walk on a leash but his gentle nature and eagerness to be loved make him a wonderful companion. Baklava is one of over 80 dogs rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. Many of these dogs are overcoming their pasts and learning what it feels like to be safe and cherished. Baklava has shown remarkable resilience, developing trust as he receives warm baths and gentle cuddles from our dedicated staff and volunteers. Baklava gets along well with other dogs, making him a suitable match for a home with furry companions. Although he isn’t house-trained yet, he’s ready to learn and thrive in a nurturing environment.
