Meet Brulee, a 6-month-old male Terrier mix looking for his forever home. Weighing in at around 21 lbs, Brulee has a beautiful brown and white coat and a gentle demeanor that shines through despite his timid nature. He loves to cuddle and will happily settle in your lap for some affection. Brulee is one of over 80 dogs rescued from a distressing hoarding situation, where they lived in overcrowded conditions without proper care. Though he is still learning some basics, like walking on a leash, Brulee has shown remarkable resilience and is eager to know what it feels like to be loved and secure. He's currently at our shelter in Kansas City, KS, and although he still needs some training and confidence-building, he does get along with other dogs.
