About Angel
Angel is a 1-year-old Great Pyrenees and Boxer mix weighing 66 pounds, who was surrendered to the shelter with her sister. This gentle girl is full of love but tends to be nervous around new people and situations. She’s looking for a patient home with experienced owners who can help her build trust and confidence. Once she knows she can rely on you, Angel transforms into a devoted shadow, often settling into your lap despite her size or cuddling close behind your chair. Angel enjoys her chew toys, balls, and ropes. She’s smart and treat-motivated, quickly learning new commands. She’s currently working on leash training, as she hadn’t encountered a leash prior to her arrival at the shelter. While she’s used to being in a fenced yard and loves being up on furniture, Angel is not yet house trained. She has a fear of car rides and thunderstorms, so she would benefit from a calm and comforting environment. Her adoption fee includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines, deworming, flea prevention, and microchip. If you’re in Sandusky County, please remember to purchase a dog license upon adoption. Visit the shelter to meet Angel during open hours, but be advised that same-day adoptions are not offered. She’s waiting to find her forever home!
