Jake is a friendly American Staffordshire Terrier who was found in Waynesville. He approached a couple taking a break at a park, and it was clear he needed some help. When he arrived at the shelter, he was quite skinny, but the manager cared for him over the weekend to ensure he ate properly. At around 3 and a half years old, Jake acts like an older dog; he's calm and prefers lounging rather than jumping on the couch. This big boy will need a sizeable doggy door! Jake gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, making him a great addition to any household. He simply wants a soft spot to lay and a bowl of food.
