About Odin
Are you looking for a new best friend?? Well, what a coincidence -- SO AM I!!! I guess it's our lucky day! My name is Odin. I was given the name because Odin embodies strength and wisdom in Norse, so I'm kind of a big deal. I am an almost 8-year-old, 60-ish pound, American Staffordshire Terrier mix fella. I am such a good boy! I am house trained, crate trained (though I really don't need to be crated), and I do pretty good on a leash too. I am friendly, sweet, smart, playful, and curious. I get along great with other dogs, and with people of all ages! I check all the boxes -- well, except for the cat box. I am not really a fan of cats. I like to chase them, and they just really don't seem to like that for some reason. ANYWAY... I would do great in really any kind of home, even an apartment (as long as I get lots of daily exercise and get to run off leash on a regular basis. I would even make a good travel companion for a trucker! I do have some allergies (to dust mites and willow trees -- go figure!), so I take daily medication to prevent flare ups. My IDEAL home has a fenced yard for me to run and play in, and another dog and/or kiddo to play with. My ideal family is active and will take me on lots of adventures to dog-friendly places. I hope you'll fill out an application so you can meet me and see for yourself what a good boy I am. My adoption fee is $75 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out* Don't forget to LIKE us on Facebook!-www.facebook.com/rescueonespringfield *Remember, dogs are pack animals.
