“Me and my shadow strolling down the avenue…” Hello! I’m Shadow and I’m ready to stroll down the avenue with you! I'm a 3-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix boy who just graduated from the Pups for Parole training program! I have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion. I will need a family willing to continue my training, I sure don't want to forget all that I've learned! I weigh about 60 pounds. I'm very active and love people and other dogs. One of my favorite places is doggy daycare! I am crate trained, potty trained, and do okay on a leash, though I do pull. I am super playful, but may resource guard toys/bones, so play with other dogs and toys would need to be monitored. I would love to be with an active family (probably with older kids since I don’t know my own size) or an individual. I’d make a terrific running partner for any distance runners! I live with several foster siblings but would also be very happy to be an only dog. My ideal home has a fenced in yard, a family that loves running, hiking, or walking daily, and a patient person with a firm but gentle hand to set boundaries. And in return, you can tell your troubles to me, you’ll never be “all alone and feeling blue!” My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
