He’s just graduated from the Pups for Parole program, so he comes with solid basic training. Shadow has a short black and white coat, weighs roughly 60 pounds, and brims with energy. He’s house trained, crate trained, and enjoys the hustle and bustle of doggy daycare. While Shadow does pull a bit on leash and has a playful streak, he needs his toys and bones monitored around other dogs due to some resource guarding. He’s comfortable living with other dogs but could also thrive as an only pet. Shadow does best with older kids since he sometimes forgets his size. He needs an active home—a fenced yard and people committed to walks, hikes, or running are ideal. Shadow is looking for a family that can reinforce his training and set clear boundaries while giving him the exercise and attention he craves.
