Meet Coltrane! This lovely girl seems to be around 4 to 5 years old. Her journey began three years ago when she was found wandering. Despite the search for her family, no one came forward, so she stayed with the kind family that discovered her. Coltrane spent those years primarily outdoors and received minimal veterinary care. Since arriving at Suncoast Basset Rescue, we prioritized her medical needs. She's currently being treated for heartworms and recovering beautifully from her spay surgery, enjoying the comforts of indoor life. Living with a basset brother in her foster home, Coltrane gets along wonderfully with other dogs and adores people. Interestingly, in her previous home, she was more intimidated by the cat and baby than they were by her! With a gentle and easygoing personality, she's happiest observing the world around her, although her goofy side starts to shine through as she becomes more comfortable.
