Meet Willa! This lovely red and white Basset Hound has found her way to Suncoast Basset Rescue and is embracing her new life with open paws. At around 6 years old, Willa came from a municipal shelter, so her past is a bit of a mystery. What shines through is her resilience and sweetness, as she's clearly ready to leave the past behind and enjoy the good stuff. Willa is getting along beautifully with her basset foster brother and has shown a cheerful disposition with other dogs at the shelter. She’s easygoing and adaptable, happily lounging by the pool, claiming her favorite spot on the sofa, and enjoying daily walks to meet the neighbors. As she settles in, we're also ensuring she gets the medical care she needs, preparing her to find a forever family soon. This gentle girl is house trained, spayed, and ready for a loving home.
