About Lionel

Lionel, a laid-back gentleman, joined the rescue after being brought in by a community member. He exudes a sweet charm, greeting everyone with a wiggly body and a desire for affection. You'll find him just as content strolling alongside you as he is lounging nearby. His easygoing nature makes him the ideal companion for those seeking a calm presence in their lives. On outings, Lionel behaves beautifully, riding well in the car and walking nicely on a leash once he settles in. He enjoys leisurely walks, café lounging, and soaking up the company of his people. While he doesn’t care much for toys, treats are his absolute favorite, and he’s eager to sit for a tasty reward. Staying cool is important to him—he prefers the shade during warm weather. Lionel has been vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, making him ready for a new home. Although he has some health considerations like dry eye requiring daily drops and a history of skin sensitivities, he brings a loyal and comforting presence to your life. If you're ready for a steady friend to share life’s walks, Lionel is waiting for you in San Diego. Bring a leash and collar when you adopt. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
