Rosie
AvailableRosie is a large adult female Labrador Retriever in San Diego, CA. She is fully house trained and has a kind disposition shaped by her challenging past. While she has weathered hard times, Rosie remains loving and ready for a caring home.
About Rosie
Rosie has already lived a few lifetimesā worth of challenges. Dumped while very pregnant, she sheltered as best she could and brought ten puppies into the world. They all survived, thanks entirely to her care and resilience. When an unsupportive property owner forced an early, stressful move, Rosie was separated from her pups; she waited outside, close enough to hear them but unable to get to them. After a rough start, a foster stepped in and reunited Rosie with her babiesāfinally, a safe place to land. Rosieās body shows the tough road sheās traveled: fur loss, healing sores, and the patchy evidence of time spent fending for herself. But nothingās broken in Rosieās spirit. Sheās always loved her people, and her affection and house training have never wavered. Rosie is still decompressing after all this upheaval, settling into safety for the first time in a while. Sheāll make a devoted, loving companion for a family ready to offer the stability and kindness sheās been missing. Your patience will let Rosie shine. Ready to fall in love?
