Meet Calvin, a charming and affectionate black Labrador Retriever looking for his forever home. Seniors in shelters often get overlooked, but Calvin's heart is filled with love. Originally a stray, he was taken in on August 10th and quickly became a favorite among volunteers due to his gentle nature. Calvin is great with everyone, having lived with kids of all ages, from teenagers to babies, and gets along with both dogs and cats. Although he has spent much of his time outdoors, loud noises like fireworks can startle him. He has a history of walking well on a leash and enjoys car rides. Calvin recently had a small tumor removed from his face but has recovered beautifully. He’s currently in a foster home where he’s adjusting and receiving extra love.
