He chose the day of Christmas to seek help — and that’s how he became Santa, a surprise gift none of us expected. Despite his rough start, he has transformed into a wonderful companion. Santa arrived heartworm positive and battling a bad respiratory infection, but with dedicated care, he has blossomed. Throughout every challenge, he has remained sweet, trusting, and gentle, now waggling his nub in joy. At just over a year old, Santa embodies all the traits you’d hope for in a young Rottweiler: a big, affectionate boy with a playful spirit. He has bursts of energy, ready for a game, but also knows when to relax after some fun. His favorite place is the pool, where he loves to cool off and is even learning to swim.
