Leo
AvailableLeo is a large, young male Rottweiler with a striking black and bicolor short coat. At just over 3 years old, he has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. He’s house trained and currently in Arlington, TX.
About Leo
Leo is all heart. He’s a big softie who prefers sticking close, leaning into affection with every chance he gets. A perfect day for Leo means a few squeaky toys, maybe a swim, and as many belly rubs as you’re willing to give. He’s housebroken, crate-trained, and knows his basic commands. Leo gets along well with other dogs, though he’s still learning to share his prized toys and is working on his resource guarding. Leo does well with children, but because he leans for comfort, a family with older kids would be safest. He’s a lower-energy dog happy to spend his time on the couch at your side, as a dependable companion. Leo isn’t a match for homes with cats. He would be happiest soaking up quiet family life, nestled in a home that values loyalty and steady friendship. Click apply to start the adoption process.

Questions about Leo
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Leo, as a Rottweiler, thrives in a home where he feels like part of the family and can bond closely with his people. He does best in a stable environment with clear boundaries and consistent routines.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Rottweilers like Leo appreciate a yard to stretch out in, but given his lower energy level, regular walks and some playtime will often satisfy him. A securely fenced area is always preferred for safety.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Rottweilers, including Leo, can be wonderful with children when properly introduced and supervised. Because Leo leans for comfort, he’s a better fit for families with older kids who understand how to interact with large dogs.
