Meet Riggs! This handsome young Rottweiler has had quite the journey. After being found abandoned at a church in Tennessee, he waited six long months in a shelter for the right family. Thankfully, Southern States Rescued Rottweilers (SSRR) came to his rescue and offered him a new start. Over the past month with his foster family, Riggs has blossomed. Initially a bit timid around new faces, he quickly reveals his sweet, goofy personality once he trusts you. Expect snuggles and adorable hugs as he burrows into your side. Riggs is not just a looker with his striking black-and-tan coat and gorgeous chestnut eyes; he’s quite the smart pup, too. He walks gently on a leash, responds to his name, and knows commands like Sit, Stay, and Down. Completely housetrained, he also sleeps peacefully in his crate at night without resource guarding. This playful pup is dog-friendly and enjoys chasing and lounging with his canine foster sibling.
