Kitt arrived at the rescue as an owner surrender when her previous person joined the military. Since settling in, she has become comfortable in a pack setting but would also thrive as the only dog. Kitt is devoted to her long walks and loves the chance to stretch her legs with a good run. She is crate trained and sleeps through the night. Leash walks are a breeze with her, and she’s quick to respond to basic commands like sit, stay, and come. She meets people and children warmly, and her natural Rottie lean is just part of her affectionate style—though she sometimes forgets her size. Kitt has met chickens and even a pig; while she’s tempted to give the chickens a chase, she leaves them alone once she catches up.
