Meet Dobby! Just like his namesake, Dobby is loyal, brave, and he has a soft spot for socks. While the first seven years of his life remain a mystery—likely filled with challenges—he has blossomed in foster care, showcasing his sweet and quirky personality. Dobby adapts well to new situations; he’s both curious and gentle. At under 35 pounds, Dobby is the ideal companion for both adventures and cozy movie afternoons. As a border collie and Australian Shepherd mix, he embodies the best qualities of both breeds. He enjoys making prolonged eye contact, spending time outside, and following you around the house. He’ll even bring you his stuffed animals and quickly learns new tricks. His playful side shines when he wiggles his backside for scratches. Dobby has an easy-going demeanor and prefers to be near his humans. He is neutered, crate trained, potty trained, and up to date on vaccinations. He rides well in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys socializing with other dogs. Initially, he was cautious around people, particularly men, but as his confidence has grown, so has his curiosity about them. Dobby is learning basic commands and is eager to please. Please note that Dobby is currently heartworm positive and is receiving treatment through ARMA.
