About Olson

Olson is a striking solid-black house panther who made the journey to HART from Tennessee. This playful boy has turned Room 3 into his personal playground, where he delights in entertaining visitors and soaking up all the affection he can get. His happiness shows—it can even lead to a bit of drooling when he’s being petted! Though Olson enjoys making new friends, he tends to be a bit too enthusiastic with other cats and could be a bully at times. For this reason, he would thrive best as the only cat in a quieter home without children. Olson is FIV+, but this condition doesn't prevent him from leading a fulfilling life; with regular veterinary care, he can be a healthy companion and can cohabit with other cats. He takes medication to help with stress-related behaviors and will come home with his medication, allowing his new owner to create a long-term plan with their vet. If you're looking for a playful cat with a big personality and a warm heart, Olson might just be the perfect match for you. He’s part of our Shy Angels Socialization Program, so a meeting with a team member is necessary for final adoption approval. Ready to welcome Olson into your life? Apply today!
