Kody is a lively Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix who, at 9 years old, believes he’s still a puppy. After being surrendered due to his previous owners’ inability to care for him, he’s ready for new adventures with a loving family. Although he endured a challenging recovery from leg amputation due to pruritus, Kody has bounced back beautifully and loves his daily walks. He thrives on human attention, enjoying snuggles and valuable lap time. Kody can feel anxious after his recent adjustments, so he'll do best with a stay-at-home pet parent or a retired couple who can give him the companionship he craves. While he hasn’t been formally tested with children, slow introductions are recommended. Kody enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along well with cats.
