He enjoys being outside and loves his leash walks, but he also needs plenty of patience while adapting to a new environment. He’s house trained and neutered, with vaccinations up to date. Previous food guarding issues have been worked through with training, but he still needs an experienced, attentive adopter. Buddy does best as a single dog, though he gets along with cats and prefers the company of larger female dogs if there’s ever a housemate. He needs someone willing to invest time and compassion as he adjusts—ideally a home where someone is present most of the day.
