Surrendered to a veterinary clinic after his previous owner moved abroad, Buddy spent 40 days in a crate, waiting for a rescue. Fortunately, the clinic staff couldn’t bring themselves to euthanize him and sought a better future for this special dog. Buddy thrives on love, patience, and structure. He needs a securely fenced yard, as he’s known to explore the neighborhood and occasionally ‘borrow’ items that aren’t his. A home with a stay-at-home parent or someone who works from home would be ideal for him. It’s important to allow Buddy 6-8 weeks to adjust to his new environment. At 17 inches tall and weighing 41.2 lbs, Buddy is a medium-sized guy with a short coat and distinctive tricolor coloring. He’s good with cats but would prefer to be the only dog in the household. Buddy has been fully vetted, including a dental cleaning, and is up-to-date on all his vaccinations.
