Tex is a 3.5-year-old Black and Tan Coonhound currently waiting in Flagstaff for a loving home. This loyal and intelligent boy thrives outdoors, enjoying long walks and plenty of sniffing adventures. He bonds closely with his humans and requires structure and consistency, which he's had thanks to his training. Tex has excellent recall and solid house manners, making him a well-rounded companion. Though he gets along with other large dogs, he does not fit well in homes with cats or small dogs, and he would be happiest in a household without children. He has a tendency to guard resources, so an experienced dog owner would be ideal for Tex.
