With her cheerful spirit, Kate’s already embracing her new indoor life and has a knack for making everyone around her smile, especially when she flashes her adorable hound grin. Kate is sweet, playful, and loves interacting with people. She's treat motivated and eager to please, making her transition into home life enjoyable. She’s house trained, rides well in the car, and gets along with other dogs. However, she does not get along with cats, so a feline-free home is a must. While she’s adjusting, she occasionally gets a bit nervous, especially with new experiences. A patient family who can continue to build her confidence would be ideal. Having waited so long for her chance at a loving home, Kate is now spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and prevented from fleas and ticks.
