About Harley
Click apply to start the adoption process. Harley is a 6-year-old German Shepherd/Red Heeler mix who embodies calm, loyalty, and intelligence while forming deep bonds with her people. She is house-trained, crate-trained, polite in the home, and knows all her basic commands, making her an easy and rewarding companion. Harley delights in her daily walks and toys, but her greatest joy comes from simply being near her humans—she's a true 'Velcro dog' who thrives on quiet companionship. While Harley can be a bit shy around men at first and has a protective streak, she responds warmly with slow, positive introductions. In her foster home, she is especially devoted to her foster dad and teenage foster brother, showing just how loving she becomes when she feels secure. Harley enjoys the company of other dogs, and her herding instincts may show, especially around small children; for this reason, she’s best suited for families with older kids and without cats. Offered through the Foster-to-Adopt program, Harley gives her new family the chance to truly get to know her before finalizing adoption. If you want a faithful, affectionate companion who will be your loyal friend through everything, Harley could be your perfect match. Did you know Harley’s sun sign is Libra? Libras are all about forging strong bonds and harmony—perfectly matching her loving nature! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
