About Alfie

Meet Alfie, a charming tuxedo cat ready to bring joy into your home. This handsome boy may come across as a bit shy initially, but once you give him a moment, his playful and affectionate nature shines through. With his striking blue-green eyes and silly personality, Alfie loves nothing more than petting, playtime, and getting cozy with his people. When he’s really happy, don’t be surprised if you receive little licks as his way of showing affection. Alfie is quite the explorer, often claiming any high vantage point as his personal observation deck. Whether it’s a cat tree, a window perch, or the top of a cabinet, he loves to survey his surroundings. His favorite activities include playing with feather and catnip toys, which he tackles with the tenacity of a mighty predator. He shares a special bond with his sister, Daphne, enjoying playful antics and grooming sessions together. One notable aspect about Alfie is his heart condition, hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM). While it means he’ll need ongoing vet care and monitoring, he’s still a happy and lively cat. His condition is currently mild, and the team at NWAC can provide more information to potential adopters. Alfie is looking for someone who appreciates his unique quirks and is ready to fulfill his medical needs, ensuring he continues to thrive as the affectionate and playful cat he is.
