About Little Girl
Meet Little Girl! This charming Chihuahua mix came to us from a hoarding situation. Dogs from such backgrounds often require extra time and patience to become comfortable around new people and environments. Little Girl definitely deserves that effort. Initially timid, she warms up beautifully with trust, transforming into a cuddly love bug who enjoys snuggling on the couch. She has begun leash training and is making great progress. With a consistent schedule, her house training is also going well. While she’s still finding her playful side, she enjoys interacting with the other dogs in her foster home. However, she can feel a tad jealous when it comes to sharing laps, a behavior our trainer can assist with. Good news: she’s crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night. It’s best she finds a home without young children, as she might feel overwhelmed. She’s not yet tested with cats or young kids, and would thrive with another small, confident dog.
