About Mimi

Meet Mimi! This sweet girl is around 2 years old and made her way to us from a shelter in WA, where she was a bit scared and shut down. She arrived there with her sister, Winnie, after a tough life in a hoarding situation. In our care, both have blossomed into loving companions once they feel secure. Mimi enjoys long walks, typically around 45 minutes to an hour, to kick start her day. While she's getting the hang of eating on her own, she prefers dining with humans or fellow dogs. Sunbathing is another favorite pastime; she loves to lounge and snooze in the sunlight. Playtime makes her happy too, especially with squeaky toys. Affectionate yet cautious, Mimi shows love to those she trusts. She will roll over for belly rubs, which she adores. Building her trust takes some time, but the effort pays off. Although she’s initially hesitant, Mimi gets along well with dogs of all sizes, making a canine companion an ideal match to help boost her confidence. For now, we don't recommend her for homes with young children, but older kids over 12 might be fine. Mimi is okay staying home alone and is potty trained. Car rides don't faze her either. One thing to note—she's a bit apprehensive around men, though with a gentle approach, she can warm up with patience. Mimi is vaccinated, spayed, and chipped. She's eager for belly rubs and cuddles, embodying a heart of gold and remarkable bravery. Click apply to start the adoption process.
