About Chippy
Meet Chippy! Chippy is a sweet, cuddly dog who takes a bit of time to warm up. He was found abandoned in a crate, which explains his need for trust before fully opening up. Once comfortable, he enjoys cozy evenings snuggling on the couch and is well-behaved on a leash during strolls in his foster’s yard. His transition to a new home will require a patient adopter who can allow him space to adjust—this may take a few weeks. Chippy is relaxed and does well without other dogs around; he’s not particularly interested in interacting with them. He’s potty trained and gives clear signals when it’s time to go outside. While he doesn’t like being crated, he manages just fine when left loose at home and sleeps soundly at the foot of his foster mom’s bed. Chippy thrives in a quieter environment and is not suitable for homes with children. Ideally, he’d love a yard to explore and relax in the sun. Chippy is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.
