About Dax D

Dax D is an 8-year-old Black Labrador Retriever who is ready to find his forever home. Originally part of a hospice program, he's made a remarkable recovery and is now full of life. This easygoing senior prefers basking in the sun over splashing in water—no kiddie pools or garden hoses for him! Dax has a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. He gets along well with kids and other dogs, making him a perfect family companion. You’ll often catch him lounging on the patio or digging a cool spot in the yard, especially when the weather heats up. And when it’s time to relax indoors, he loves to nap with a pillow to cuddle. While he may experience a bit of separation anxiety, a consistent routine helps him feel secure. Dax is always eager to join you on car rides or carry his own leash on walks. He enjoys playful moments chasing birds or doing his happy dance when it’s bedtime. If you're seeking a companion who thrives on love, relaxation, and the occasional adventure, Dax could be the perfect match. He’s not just a pet; he's a loyal friend waiting for a family to share his golden years with. Give him the comforting home he deserves, and he’ll repay you with affection and companionship.
