About Harriet D

Meet Harriet D, a delightful senior girl from Arkansas! She’s a charming blend of Black Labrador Retriever and mixed breed, with a sweet disposition that thrives in a calm environment. Harriet seeks a nurturing home where she can settle in and soak up love. She adores cuddling—just invite her up on the couch for pets and belly rubs, and she’ll be in pure bliss. Harriet is both potty-trained and crate-trained. While she may bark initially when in her crate, she quickly settles down. When she's not enjoying her favorite chew treats, you might find her relaxing on a dog bed or next to you while you work. She’s still mastering leash walking but loves the adventure of sniffing around. Currently, she’s undergoing treatment for heartworm disease, which requires a few appointments and strict rest for 3-4 months. This treatment is not contagious, so your resident pets will be safe around her. Harriet's adoption can proceed during her treatment, which The Bond Between will manage financially. Other necessary medical care will be the responsibility of her new family. This loving girl is eager to find her forever home—could it be with you? Click apply to start the adoption process.
