About Draco
Draco is a large, short-coated, black mixed-breed Pit Bull Terrier and Black Labrador Retriever with a lot of character. Known around the house as DrummerBoy and Black Bean, Draco brings an entertaining mix of playful enthusiasm and laid-back lounging. He loves to chase tennis balls, chew on his toys, and watch the world out the window. Tennis balls and tree branches are his quirky obsessions—sometimes he gets a little intense with both—but he responds well to commands like "drop it" and is working with his foster on better focusing his energy. You won’t find him chewing shoes or furniture, and he’s done well with house training since settling in. Draco gets along well with other dogs and is good with children over 10, but not with cats. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic companion who’s as happy on a walk as curled up inside, Draco could be your guy. He’s looking for someone who appreciates his quirks and will help him continue to grow outside shelter life. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!

Draco, as a Pit Bull Terrier and Black Labrador Retriever mix, typically does well in homes with enough space to play and relax. He thrives in an environment that provides both structured activity and calm downtime.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Dogs like Draco benefit from a yard to burn off energy, but regular walks or trips to a park can also keep him happy. As long as he gets daily chances to exercise, he’ll be content.
