Elmer is a gentle 3-year-old Great Dane mix, a big-hearted boy who came into rescue with his family of puppies. He greets everyone with enthusiastic tail wags and enjoys big leans for affection. If he’s really fond of someone, you might just find him sitting in front of you, offering a paw and rolling over for belly rubs. His love for treats is evident as he takes them gently and sits patiently for his meals. Crate training is a breeze for him, and he appreciates a cozy bed for some well-deserved rest. Currently in foster care, Elmer shares his space with a large female dog, though he can be a tad pushy when vying for attention. With guidance, he responds well to redirection. Tennis balls are his favorite, and he enjoys carrying one around while engaging in playtime. Walking is another highlight for Elmer.
