Oakley arrived at the rescue from a vet clinic, quite underweight and clearly needing a fresh start. At 5 1/2 years old and neutered, he’s still figuring things out and will need some time to settle in. Oakley gets along very well with other dogs—any size, any shape—and he truly enjoys playing, although sometimes he forgets how big he is. You’ll need to help him learn his manners during play. He isn’t house trained yet, and he’ll come with a training contract since he tends to pull hard on walks if given the chance. Oakley is good with older kids (11 and up), but his comfort with young children and cats hasn’t been tested.
