Kona is a sweet soul who was rescued from a high-intake shelter after being found abandoned and tied to a fence. Now, around 3-5 years old, she has blossomed into a joyful companion who shines once she warms up to people. Although a bit shy at first, she quickly reveals her affectionate nature, especially when it comes to snuggling after playtime. Her favorite activities include walking—she's a pleasure to leash—and playing with balls or tug toys. She's also quite the adventurer, enjoying flirt pole games. Recently, she faced a tough situation when she was returned to the shelter by college students who found it too demanding to care for her. Back in a frightening environment, she began to shut down and was placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, we stepped in to give her a second chance. Now in a loving foster home, Kona is learning to relax and is perfectly content waiting for her humans while they’re away.
