About Fuji

Meet Fuji, a charming 2 to 3-year-old medium-sized pit mix, weighing about 45-50 lbs. With his adorable ears and a curious expression, he brings a unique spirit wherever he goes. After being adopted nearly two years ago, he's back with us due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, but we believe there's a perfect home waiting for him. Fuji thrives on routine and structure, benefiting from both physical and mental activities. He shows off his training by sitting for meals, waiting at corners, and walking well on a leash—though he sometimes needs reminders to keep his manners in check. Fuji is good with dogs that match his energy and has enjoyed the company of a playful medium-sized dog in the past. However, he does not get along with cats or young children. This loyal companion has some anxiety that is managed well with medication and a consistent environment. An ideal fit for Fuji is a patient, experienced dog owner who enjoys training and can offer him a stable, adult home. He loves engaging activities like agility courses or nosework, and he's crate trained, making him a versatile addition to an active household. We understand how overwhelming shelter life can be for Fuji, so we're pleased to offer private training sessions with his previous trainers as part of his adoption package. Whether you’re looking to foster or adopt, we’re here to support you in this transition. Let’s help Fuji find his forever home where he can finally thrive. They are waiting with paws crossed!
