AvailableAbout Griffin
Meet Griffin, also known as "Finn," an 8-month-old male Rottweiler who's ready to find his forever home. Griffin's journey began under difficult circumstances—he was found abandoned in a garage. Thankfully, he was rescued and placed with a foster family who has been instrumental in helping him heal and grow. Griffin is a devoted companion who forms strong bonds with his humans quickly. Although he can be a bit shy and insecure due to his past, he has made remarkable progress in his foster home. He's a great listener, making solid eye contact when praised, and he's surprisingly quiet, having barked only once since arriving. His social skills are improving, as he is dog-friendly and has made friends in his foster home, although he benefits from structured introductions. Finn enjoys toys and has a favorite treat—whipped cream! He also loves baths, showing a surprising enthusiasm for spa days. In terms of training, Griffin is house trained and crate trained, viewing his crate as a safe haven. Future adopters should provide a calm, low-key environment to help him build confidence further. Griffin thrives on human connection and does not do well being left outside alone. An experienced owner who understands Rottweilers and can set boundaries will help Finn become the devoted partner he was meant to be. If you have the experience and love to give Griffin the supportive home he needs, don't wait to apply to meet him. Your new best friend is ready!
