Fortunately, she made her way to North Carolina, where she’s safe in a loving foster home. Adaptation is a bit of a challenge for Haley since she's still getting used to everyday sounds and sights that many dogs take for granted. Household noises like vacuums can startle her, so she needs an adopter who can offer patience and encouragement as she navigates her new world. Haley shines with small and medium-sized dogs but tends to be a bit tough with larger dogs, so she'd do best either as the sole big dog or paired with smaller, easygoing companions. She’s smart and eager to learn, having already picked up commands like "sit" and "down," but she will require consistent training since she’s not yet housebroken or crate trained.
