Once he feels secure, he showers you with love and kisses, making every moment worthwhile. Playtime is a favorite; he enjoys tossing toys around and is just starting to learn fetch, although returning the ball is still a work in progress. His ultimate delight? Belly rubs, of course! Chuck gets along wonderfully with other dogs, which helps boost his confidence. He's also friendly with cats and is gentle with kids who give him a little time to adapt. In the car, he's a champ. He’s house trained and crate trained, happily making it through the night. On walks, he behaves well but needs some encouragement when passing through doors or gates, perhaps still wary of the big world outside. Luckily, he's smart and eager to learn basic commands.
