We’re dedicated to ensuring this next transition is his last. He began his weight-loss journey in his foster home, working towards a healthier goal weight of around 9 pounds. It’s important for his new family to commit to this journey with him. Bentley’s gentle, sensitive nature shines through once he trusts you. He has a soft spot for women and can be quite the cuddle bug, while men may take a bit more time for him to warm up—he's never aggressive, just shy. A quiet home without children suits him best, and he’s great with dogs of all sizes, as well as being fond of his feline friends. Bentley loves to be near you, whether curled up in your lap or snuggled beside you at bedtime, ensuring you have a constant companion. He’s house-trained, pee pad trained, and crate trained, but needs a secure fenced yard for outdoor activities as he’s still gaining confidence on a leash. Having come from a difficult past in a hoarding situation, Bentley has remained a loving little dog who longs for someone to share his heart with.
