About Nina

Nina is part of a bonded pair with Blessing, and they must stay together—they've never known life apart. Nina's a small, 8 1/2-year-old Chiweenie weighing around 14 pounds. She's friendly with dogs, cats, and respectful children over 10. Both Nina and Blessing are pee pad trained but still need some work on being fully housebroken. They're used to a secure, fenced yard where they can run, sunbathe, and watch the world go by. Both dogs are highly affectionate and want to be near their people, soaking up attention and sharing plenty of snuggles. Relaxing on the furniture with their humans is a must in their new home. Their foster insists on very specific requirements: the pair must be adopted together, to a home where someone is present most of the time (they can't be left alone for long stretches), with a secure fenced yard, and where cuddling on the couch is encouraged. Local adopters will be prioritized, as any meet-and-greet will involve all humans and animals in the home. The rescue won't consider applications that don't meet all requirements. Nina has Microphthalmia, a congenital eye condition that causes a small, sunken eye but requires no treatment. When adopted, they’ll need two weeks to settle in without outside visitors, so they have space to adjust and build trust with their new family. Nina is spayed, vaccinated, and up to date on all care, and both dogs are microchipped and healthy. They're in Cherry Hill, NJ. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
