About Blessing
Blessing is a five-and-a-half-year-old, five-pound Chihuahua, bonded with his best friend Nina, an eight-and-a-half-year-old Chiweenie. Both need to be adopted together—they've never been apart. Blessing and Nina get along with dogs, cats, and respectful older children (ages 10 and up). While they're not fully housebroken yet, both reliably use pee pads and are used to a secure, fenced yard. Both dogs are incredibly affectionate: expect lap time, sofa cuddles, and constant snuggles. They enjoy being outdoors to sunbathe or play. Adopters must have someone home most of the time, a secure fenced yard, and a willingness to make Blessing and Nina part of everyday life, including letting them on the furniture. Out-of-area adopters aren’t a fit, as a local home check is required. Plan to give them time to settle: for their first two weeks, they need quiet time with only people who live in the home—no visitors. Blessing could use a little extra weight, while Nina needs to lose a bit. Nina has a genetic eye condition (microphthalmia) that requires no treatment. Both are neutered/spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Ready to meet this inseparable duo? Click apply to start the adoption process.
